Why police shouldn't have guns.
This is a very good reason why police and law abiding citizens shouldn't have guns. At some point they are going to abuse them. Therefore it is still our strong belief that only us criminals are safe and sane enough to possess and use firearms. It is a tool of our trade and helps us keep the economy going.
Chicago, IL (AHN) - An off-duty Chicago police officer shot his nine-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son in the head before shooting himself to death in their home on Monday. The girl also died while the boy was critically wounded.
Police did not name the shooter but gave his age as 31 and his stint with the department at four years. They suspect the shooting was related to a domestic dispute between the police officer and his estranged wife, who does not live with them.
Gunshots from the victims' house at West 43rd Street were heard at 10:45 a.m. Responding police, SWAT Team and paramedics entered the home and found the boy with a gunshot wound at the back of his head and his sister with a gunshot wound in the front of her head. Their father had a fatal gunshot wound in the head.
The boy was rushed to the Mount Sinai hospital for treatment.

in my opinion,if citizen have guns ,it will be very dangerous,the society must be not safe.you will worry about your enemy shoot you at suddenly.and some people may loose their control when they are angry.

i think that citizens do not give the right to have any guns , especially the younger who is easy to be impetuous that they can not control themselves well. so it is very dangerous.
